Whistler's Glen Alpacas is located on 11 beautiful acres in Hudson, Ohio.  Originally a horse farm, we have completely converted to breeding alpacas of superior beauty and fleece, and have incorporated many of the most well-respected bloodlines available in the U.S. into our herd.   We hope you will enjoy your visit with us at this website and that you will come to our farm for a closer look at this special lifestyle.    Our website is loaded with links to organizations and information about alpacas.  Our animals are organized into 4 convenient categories, Herdsires, ,  Bred Females, Maidens, and Sales Offerings.  On the About Us page we have provided links to websites that will give more in-depth information on the tax advantages of owning alpacas, as well as general information concerning their care and history2 2008 was a year of amazing accomplishments for our Charles P. Atlas and his cria.  He was awarded 4 first place and one second place ribbon in the prestigious Get of Sire category.  His cria won many many first and second place ribbons as well as color championships and reserve color chapionships.  And he continued his amazing female to male production ratio of 6 to 1. Our first Cactus Jack cria have arrived and they are gorgeous to behold.  Cactus Jack represents the biggest investment we have made in our alpaca future and his cria are showing us that we made an excellent choice! While the economy struggles to find  its way, life here on the farm moves from day to day with a reassuring regularity.  We are confident in our choice of lifestyle and look forward to the bounty of a new crop of cria in 2009.  Whether you are looking for pet/fiber quality males, opening price point females, or high end breeding stock, we have many choices to fit your requirements.  And we give you the security of knowing you are dealing with a well established farm that will be here for you as you pursue your alpaca dream.
